So far so good. Old Loveland is a great place to live! Lots of bars and restaurants within walking distance and you have direct access to the bike trail and river. I haven’t had any issues with any of the apartment managers I’ve spoken with. There’s also an awesome business center that I occasionally rent for Young Entrepreneur Club meetings.
I’m not sure how the other apartments are but mine seems to be insulated very well. I haven’t heard a peep from my neighbors and according to them they haven’t heard anything from my apartment either. As far as train noise, I think these negative reviewers are being pretty dramatic. The train going by is a very low rumble that you can barely hear and it lasts about 2 minutes. You’d have to be an extremely light sleeper for it to wake you up.
This apartment complex certainly deserves more than the 3.5 star rating they currently have. If you’re a prospective renter I think it’s important to keep in mind there are a lot of people out there who don’t know what to expect in apartment living and they’re going to voice that in their reviews. This isn’t a luxury hotel, it’s a place where people live. You’re going to share an elevator ride with a dog and their owner, you’re going to see a kid spill some Graeters ice cream in the hallway, and you’re going to hear couples argue sometimes. If you’re not okay with that, then I don’t think you’d be happy living in any apartment complex.
